The sailing courses are designed for those who want to learn as quickly as possible to sail on a yacht on the open sea. The sailing lesson are suitable for all levels of the education system of the Dutch Yachting Association. Level 1 can be compared with RYA Compenent crew, Level 2 with RYA Day Skipper and Level 3 with Coastal Skipper.
In advance we always make an extensive routing plan with all the charts, almanacs, weather forcasts etc. Various tactics are discussed to sail as effectively as possible, taking into account tidal currents and wind. During the sailing trip you will learn how to navigate, watch-keeping, using the VHF, safety on board, crossing shipping lanes, etc. You will learn to maneuver under sail and power, as well as the various berthing maneuvers, tacking, jibing, hoisting, reefing, etc.

The price includes VAT, fuel, dues for port and bridges, cleaning, the use of safety equipment, the use of a sailing suit if you do not have one, and the stay on board overnight if applicable.
